CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF EASTERN
ONTARIO FOUNDATION

CHEO is a health care centre dedicated to providing comprehensive care to children and young people in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Founded in 1974, CHEO offers a range of medical services for patients from birth through 18 years of age.

The purpose of the foundation is “to further the physical, mental and social well-being of children and their families in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec by raising, managing and disbursing funds.”

Funds raised by the Foundation help to: fund research purchase new equipment, enhance the paediatric nature of the hospital, train staff, and assist families in crisis.

CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION

The Champions For Children Foundation is committed to breaking the cycle of abuse, educating highrisk families and rallying community support to prevent child abuse and neglect. The Foundation raises funds for child abuse prevention programs developed by the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa. By funding these programs, it is our goal to help children in the care of the CAS of Ottawa to become more self-confident and enhance their ability to face the challenges that life can sometimes present. Our three “Pillars of Prevention” program allows them the chance to develop skills and become responsible and mature adults through Education, Enrichment and Prevention.

The Champions for Children Foundation is a local Canadian Charity created in 1992. We believe children have a right to grow up in families where they feel loved, safe and secure – where smiles and laughter are a part of everyday life.

CLUB MONT STE MARIE
JUNIOR SKI PROGRAM

Club Mont Ste Marie Junior Ski Program is a volunteer non-profit organization that promotes skiing excellence among youth, in a competitive, enjoyable atmosphere that allows each athlete to develop, mature and achieve their own potential, both as a skier and as a young adult.
